Memphis signee Dominic MaGee has been nominated for the 2014 McDonald's All-American game. Nearly 1,000 players were chosen across the country, and the final list of 24 boys and 24 girls will be selected on January 29th on ESPNU.
MaGee is rated as the top player in the state of Louisiana by the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and picked Memphis over LSU, Oklahoma State and Kansas State among others. He is the only player from Louisiana to be given this honor.
Players were chosen by the McDonald's All-American Games Selection Committee, as well as athletic directors, high school coaches and principals.
Once the final rosters are revealed, the next step will be the actual game, which is scheduled for April 2nd at the United Center in Chicago.
